Winter
The end of Deer season comes quick but leaves us more time for Small game hunting and tuning up the Ice fishing gear . Although I am spending most of the Winter at my Adventure camp in the Bahamas ,I do have a very competent apprentice who does an excellent job ,and is available the whole Winter season.
Ice fishing is available for all species that are in thier open season. Lake Trout ,Northern Pike ,Walleye,Yellow perch and more can be caught from a wide range of locations , Primarily Jefferson & StLawrence counties . The outing can include a meal on the ice as well.
Small game season is open until the end of February . Grouse,Cotton tails & Snowshoes can make a fine day in the field and an even better time at the dinner table .
