Upon returning from my Winter camp in the Bahamas , April is when I start fishing for trout . Most rivers&streams have warmed enough for the fish to bite and when the ice melts off the lakes&ponds the trout turn on .
Then May arrives and it is Turkey season. The law allows us to hunt until noon to give the hens a chance to nest in peace, and gives us an opportunity to fish for trout or Pike&Walleye which open the first Saturday of May. This makes a very full and interesting day.
After Turkey season ends on the last day of May ,I start doing float trips .UtilizingCanoes, kayaks,Whitewater rafts or motor boats I can provide great multiple day float trips that can include fishing ,foraging,Bio-Eco photography, and camping.
We can opperate from a base camp or travel trough an area .
I supply everything except your personal gear ie.clothes, sleeping bag etc. All along the way I try to share my extensive knowledge of the wilderness and aquatic eco systems and the funa & floura that live there . These trips are available throught the Summer until Oct when hunting season starts .
I pride myself on being able to target certain species and like the challenge .We will keep only fish that are mortally wounded to add to our dinner, all fish that are lightly hooked can be released.
These outings have been a favorite of mine .
Of coarse I can be available for single day trips with or without shore lunch .
